Congress Certifies Trump’s Election Victory

In accordance with the 12th Amendment, a joint session of Congress met to count the Electoral College votes tallied during the 2024 presidential election. At the end of the count, Congress formally announced Donald Trump as the next president of the United States.

Trump Calls For Judge Merchan To Be Disbarred

President-elect Donald Trump has called for Judge Juan Merchan, the judge set to sentence him on January 10th, to be disbarred. Trump referred to Merchan as “the most conflicted judge in New York State history.”
