UPDATE 3:05 PM: Authorities have stated that at least 58 people have died and at least 160 others have been in injured after a nightclub in the Dominican capital of Santo Domingo had its roof collapse.

A Tennessee security guard has prevented a potential mass shooting by returning fire and wounding the gunman, stopping him after he had fired into a crowd lingering outside a nightclub venue.
