Former Democrat President Barack Obama faced backlash after applauding the Israel-Hamas ceasefire agreement without mentioning or praising President Donald Trump for his instrumental role in brokering the peace deal.

Trump set to visit Israel on Monday after brokering ceasefire and hostage release deal

Trump: ‘First phase’ of Gaza Peace deal successful, all hostages to be ‘released very soon’

Pres. Trump sends letter to families of Israeli hostages
