President Donald Trump announced on Monday that the Washington, D.C., police department will be placed under federal control, and he is deploying the National Guard to curb violent crime from continuing in the nation’s capital.

Source: FBI dismisses 3 senior officials, with ‘more dismissals expected’

The FBI has removed at least three senior officials, including a former acting director, the current acting director of the Washington Field Office, and a special agent involved in the investigation of Trump trade advisor Peter Navarro.
