Biden’s Saudi trip garners mixed response from lawmakers

President Joe Biden is causing yet another stir in Washington, D.C. with his latest foreign policy decision. On Tuesday, the White House announced Biden will be visiting Saudi Arabia in June, where he will reportedly meet with crowned Prince Mohammed bin Salman. GOP critics warn this is just another attempt to beg the Saudi government to produce more oil as the US faces a growing energy crisis.

Biden meets with NATO Chief, NSA Sullivan at White House

President Joe Biden and his National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan met with NATO Chief Jens Stoltenberg to discuss the Ukraine crisis. The three officials met Thursday at the White House, to discuss the bids by Sweden and Finland to join NATO amid opposition by Turkey. 




Several Senate Republicans continue to drill the Biden administration after denying Poland's proposal to send fighter jets to Ukraine. In a joint press conference Thursday, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) expressed his frustration at the lack of urgency from Joe Biden's White House.

Senators travel to Poland, advocate for MiG-29 jets

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has been bloody and unceasing since first beginning over two weeks ago. One proposal has received major attention in recent days, which is for Poland to give its MiG-29 jets for Ukraine to use while the U.S. gives Poland replacement jets.
