Longtime Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell announced on his 83rd birthday that he will not seek re-election, after serving a lengthy seven terms in Congress.

Calif: Riverside County Sheriff Becomes First Republican To Announce 2026 Gubernatorial Bid

A Republican Trump-supporting sheriff in Riverside County has officially put his name in the California gubernatorial race, becoming the first GOP candidate to enter the Golden State’s 2026 gubernatorial race.
