The Justice Department announced the arrest of 150 people in an international dark net opioid probe. The DOJ confirmed they made a massive development in the U.S.’s fight against the illegal global opioid trade.
The Mexican Navy and the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration seized 2.5 tons of methamphetamine and 100,000 fentanyl pills headed to the U.S. Authorities made the bust last week after spotting a speedboat, which was transporting five people in an irregular manner near Ensenada, Mexico.
The U.S. is asking Mexico to let the Drug Enforcement Administration and other agents into the country.
