US opens probe into over 110,000 Ford SUVs on seat belt concern

GM Cuts 1K Jobs In Cost-Cutting Reorganization

General Motors laid off almost 1,000 employees on Friday as the automaker attempts to cut costs and realign priorities amid changing market conditions.

Advance Auto Parts To Shut Down At Least 500 Stores, Reducing Workforce As ‘Car Repairs Decline’

The automotive aftermarket parts provider Advance Auto Parts announced on Thursday that it will close more than 500 stores by mid-2025, while also cutting jobs in an effort to save money.
