Steve Witkoff, President Donald Trump’s Special Envoy to the Middle East, met with families of Israeli hostages on Saturday to announce he is working with the Israeli government on a “comprehensive” plan to end the war in Gaza and free the hostages.

Britain PM Starmer: UK will recognize Palestinian State in Sept. if Israel doesn’t agree to ceasefire, commit to peace process

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has announced that the United Kingdom will officially recognize the “State of Palestine” at the United Nations (UN) General Assembly in late September, unless Israel takes “substantive steps to end the appalling situation in Gaza.”
