Trans instructor placed on leave after failing student who quoted Bible, expressed belief in only 2 genders

A transgender-identifying graduate instructor at the University of Oklahoma has been placed on administrative leave after giving a student a failing grade on a psychology assignment. The student’s essay quoted the Bible to argue that there are only two genders, male and female, while describing the idea of multiple genders as a “lie.”

CDC Vaccine Advisory Panel votes to stop recommending routine hepatitis B shot at birth: ‘Individual-based decision making’

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) — a panel of experts that advises on vaccine recommendations — voted 8-3 to end the universal recommendation for administering the first dose of the hepatitis B vaccine within 24 hours of birth.
