The U.S. dollar has been the world’s main reserve currency since the final demise of the gold standard in the 1970’s.

Ted Cruz slams Biden for pandering to French President Macron

Senator Ted Cruz posted on Twitter on Wednesday to criticize President Joe Biden and his foreign policies, claiming that it caused America’s oldest ally, France, to turn to China’s Xi Jinping for support.

U.S. and Philippines to hold largest drills in history as a message to China

The United States and Philippines are set to begin the largest military drill that the two nations have ever held on Tuesday.

Egypt planned to secretly send Russia thousands of rockets

According to the leaked United States intelligence documents that were obtained by the Washington Post, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi had reportedly developed a plan to secretly produce and ship around 40,000 rockets to Russia.

South Korea calls for ‘appropriate measures’ after Pentagon documents are leaked

A senior South Korean government official has said at a briefing that he will request the United States to take “appropriate measures” after completing an investigation into Pentagon documents that were stolen from U.S. intelligence.

The monthly jobs report for March is out, showing U.S. employers added 236,000 jobs last month, which is good, but slightly below expectations, and the unemployment rate decreased from 3.6% to 3.5%.
