Trump announces 90-day tariff delay on Mexico after a ‘very successful’ talk with President Claudia Sheinbaum

President Donald Trump announced that he and Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum have agreed to postpone the U.S. tariff hike by 90 days, extending their negotiation window beyond the previous August 1st deadline.

The Senate has confirmed Susan Monarez as the new director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), appointing a “seasoned” government scientist to lead the agency amid sweeping reforms initiated by Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
