President Donald Trump has announced that he is reducing Russian President Vladimir Putin’s deadline to end the ongoing war with Ukraine to 10-12 days from Monday, after previously affording Putin 50 days.

President Donald Trump, alongside NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte, announced that the United States will impose “very severe tariffs” on Russia should Moscow fail to secure a peace deal with Ukraine in the next 50 days.

Trump tariffs result in U.S. customs duties topping $100B for ‘first time in a fiscal year’

U.S. customs duty collections surged again back in June as President Donald Trump’s tariffs gained momentum, surpassing $100 billion for the first time in a fiscal year. This helps generate a whopping $27 billion budget surplus for the month, the Treasury Department stated on Friday.
