Gov. Hochul Activates National Guard Amid N.Y. Prison Guard Strike

Multiple walkouts of New York state prison guards began this week and have continued into Thursday at a number of correctional facilities in the Empire State, prompting New York Democrat Governor Kathy Hochul to declare a “disaster emergency.”

Mexico And U.S. Reach Agreement To Suspend Tariffs For A Month And Deploy 10K Troops To The Border

President Donald Trump and Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum, announced on Monday that they have agreed to a one-month pause on the imposition of a 25% across-the board tariff by the U.S. in exchange for concessions on border security by Mexico.
