GOP Rep. Burchett crowned Chair of DOGE House Subcommittee

Tennessee Republican Rep. Tim Burchett has been officially named the chair of the House Subcommittee on Delivering on Government Efficiency (DOGE), which operates under the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.

Georgia special election to fill vacancy left by resignation of fmr GOP Rep. MTG set for March 10

Georgia Republican Governor Brian Kemp announced a special election, taking place on March 10th, to fill the vacancy in the state’s 14th Congressional District left by the resignation of former Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG).

Former Voice of America supervisor pleads guilty to death threats against MTG

A Maryland man, who formerly worked for Voice of America, pleaded guilty of making death threats against Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, as well as her family and staff.

RFK Jr. introduces measures to end transgender treatments for minors nationwide: ‘Our children deserve better’

The federal government announced measures to end transgender treatments for children, aimed at protecting minors from what the Department of Health and Human Services (DHS) refers to as “sex-rejecting procedures,” by effectively defunding hospitals offering the treatments.

House approves $900B NDAA package

The House of Representatives passed the annual defense bill, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2026, highlighting the $900.6 billion budget that increases troop pay by 4%, supports developing technologies like the Golden Dome defense system, promotes military readiness, and helps deter China and Russia.
