Texas officials gave an update on the ongoing power outages amid a historic winter storm. On Wednesday, Gov. Greg Abbott (R-Texas) said all sources of his state’s power were compromised by the freezing temperatures.
Officials in Texas are sounding the alarm as turbines freeze and power supplies are threatened. At least 2.5 million residents are without power in the Lone Star State and electric companies are issuing rolling blackouts.
