After a decades long career in Congress, Nancy Pelosi has announced that she will not be seeking re-election at the end of her term in January 2027.

Florida GOP Representative Anna Paulina Luna introduced a resolution to advance the End Congressional Stock Trading Act, a bill that would prohibit members of Congress, their spouses, and dependent children from trading or owning individual stocks, bonds, commodities, and other complex investment vehicles.

Trump Says He Would ‘Absolutely’ Sign Ban On Congressional Stock Trading

President Donald Trump stated in a TIME Magazine interview, which was published on Friday, that he would “absolutely” sign legislation prohibiting members of Congress from trading stocks, should such a bill reach his desk.
