Former National Security Advisor John Bolton has been indicted on 18 counts of illegally hoarding or sending sensitive national security information by a federal grand jury.

A grand jury has rejected a request by federal prosecutors to indict the former Justice Department employee who assaulted a federal law enforcement officer with a sandwich.
