Trump’s Legal Team Requests Delay In Sentencing To Appeal Merchan’s Ruling

On Monday, President-elect Donald Trump requested a New York judge to delay his January 10th sentencing while Trump’s legal team works through the appeal process.

Congress Certifies Trump’s Election Victory

In accordance with the 12th Amendment, a joint session of Congress met to count the Electoral College votes tallied during the 2024 presidential election. At the end of the count, Congress formally announced Donald Trump as the next president of the United States.
