The Senate has passed the Laken Riley Act in a bipartisan vote.

Stacey Abrams-Founded Voting Advocacy Group Fined ‘Historic’ $300K for Campaign Finance Violations

The New Georgia Project, a nonprofit voting advocacy group founded by failed Georgia Democrat gubernatorial candidate Stacey Adams, has been hit with the largest fine for campaign finance violations in the state’s history.

Biden Considers Additional Preemptive Pardons To ‘Potential Trump Targets’

Lame duck President Joe Biden stated that he is currently considering “preemptive pardons” to a number of individuals that he believes President-elect Donald Trump could legally “target” in his upcoming administration.

Laken Riley Act Approved In House By All Republicans And 48 Democrats

On Tuesday afternoon, the Laken Riley Act was passed by the House of Representatives. It was the first piece of federal legislation approved by the new 119th Congress after the House agreed to its rules for the term.
