President-elect Donald Trump spoke of a new age of American “prosperity, dignity, and pride,” during his Sunday speech at the victory rally in Washington, D.C.

Laken Riley Act Approved In House By All Republicans And 48 Democrats

On Tuesday afternoon, the Laken Riley Act was passed by the House of Representatives. It was the first piece of federal legislation approved by the new 119th Congress after the House agreed to its rules for the term.
