The Trump administration is placing new restrictions on U.S. business and travel to Cuba. The changes are expected to take full effect on Thursday. Americans will be prohibited from doing business with dozens of Cuban government-run hotels, shops, and other entities identified by the U.S. State Department.
The State Department confirms illnesses related to a mysterious sonic attack in the Cuban embassy. Officials say at least 16 Americans suffered symptoms as a result of activity believed to have been caused by this secretive method.

Florida is reporting the state’s first case of sexually transmitted Zika virus this year. Health officials say the infected person did not contract the disease in the state, but contracted it from a partner who recently went on a trip to Cuba.
