Trump meets president of Brazil to discuss high tariffs

President Donald Trump met with President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva of Brazil for a brief meeting in Malaysia to discuss a possible trade deal.

Trump signs trade deals, oversees peace deal with Southeast Asian partners

Amidst his trip to Asia, President Donald Trump signed trade deals with key Asian partners to address trade imbalances while finding alternative supply chains, as China cracks down on rare earth exports.

US, China reach framework deal on TikTok after talks in Madrid

The U.S. and China reached a framework deal on short-video app TikTok as part of broader talks on tariffs and economic policy that concluded in Madrid on Monday.

Trump announces 90-day tariff delay on Mexico after a ‘very successful’ talk with President Claudia Sheinbaum

President Donald Trump announced that he and Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum have agreed to postpone the U.S. tariff hike by 90 days, extending their negotiation window beyond the previous August 1st deadline.

Trump says China violated trade truce

President Donald Trump on Friday accused China of blatantly violating a temporary agreement with the U.S. to reduce tariffs during ongoing trade negotiations.
