Sabalenka and Swiatek set for French Open semi-final blockbuster

The French Open women’s singles semi-finals take centre stage at Roland Garros on Thursday, when world number one Aryna Sabalenka meets four-times champion Iga Swiatek in a match worthy of a title clash.

Polish Prime Minister to seek confidence vote following election setback

Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced Monday that he will be asking the country’s parliament to hold a vote of confidence after one of his ally’s lost the presidential runoff.

NATO ‘Corrects’ Statement On 4 Missing U.S. Soldiers After Secy. General Suggested They Died During Exercises In Lithuania

On Wednesday, NATO “clarified” previous remarks made by Secretary-General Mark Rutte, after he announced that four U.S. Army soldiers were killed in NATO training exercises in Lithuania. The U.S. Army never confirmed the secretary general’s initial announcement.
