Senate Advances Hegseth Nomination To Lead Department Of Defense Before Friday’s Final Decision

The Senate has voted to advance the nomination of Pete Hegseth as the new secretary of the Department of Defense.

Incoming Senate Majority Leader John Thune has assured the public that “all the options” are on the table to get President-elect Donald Trump’s cabinet picks through the confirmation process amid concerns that some appointees might not receive enough votes.

Haley Endorsed By 2 GOP Senators Ahead Of Super Tuesday
