New U.S. unemployment applications fall to 1-month low

The number of Americans filing new applications for unemployment benefits dropped unexpectedly last week to one of the lowest levels this year.

Dept. of Labor: U.S. unemployment claims drop, remaining in ‘healthy’ range

The number of Americans applying for unemployment benefits declined last week, remaining within the historically low levels seen since the COVID-19 pandemic, economists say.

SCOTUS lifts lower court order, paving way for Trump admin’s mass federal layoffs: ‘A win for the GOP’

The Supreme Court lifted a lower court order on Tuesday that blocked sweeping layoffs of federal workers at nearly two dozen agencies while a legal battle over President Donald Trump’s plans to drastically cut waste, fraud, and abuse in the government moves forward.
