Authorities Investigate ‘Racist Text Messages’ Targeting Black Americans, NAACP Blames Trump’s Victory

Federal authorities have begun investigating the origins of racist text messages that have been sent to Black Americans throughout the U.S. The disturbing texts falsely informed people of color that they had been “selected to pick cotton.”

Donald Trump ally Steve Bannon was released from a Connecticut federal prison Tuesday morning after serving four months in prison for failing to comply with a subpoena that relates to the January 6th congressional committee.

Judge Orders Virginia To Reinstate 1,600 Voters Who Were Removed In Non-citizens Program

A federal judge ordered Virginia on Friday to restore voter registration rolls for just over 1,600 people who were removed under Governor Glenn Youngkin’s executive order, which aimed to disqualify noncitizens from participating in the election.
