A Manhattan jury has acquitted Daniel Penny of any criminal wrongdoing in the chokehold death of Jordan Neely on a crowded subway.

Judge Dismisses Manslaughter Charge Against Daniel Penny Following Deadlock

After the 12-person jury could not come to a unanimous decision regarding Daniel Penny’s case, the judge overseeing the trial agreed to drop the manslaughter charge.
