WASHINGTON, DC - MARCH 05: Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN) talks to reporters with fellow Freedom Caucus members Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) (L) and Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) about their Stand with Israel resolution at the U.S. Capitol Visitors Center on March 05, 2024 in Washington, DC. Freedom Caucus Chair Rep. Bob Good (R-VA) said the resolution will reaffirm strong U.S. support for Israel, denounce calls for a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas in Gaza and to defund United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNWRA). Good introduced the resolution one day after Vice President Kamala Harris called for a ceasefire in Gaza during a speech in Selma, Alabama, commemorating the 59th anniversary of Bloody Sunday.
