TSA officers awarded $10K bonuses for working through govt. shutdown, with more checks anticipated

U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem awarded $10,000 bonus checks to a number of Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officers who continued working without pay during the 43-day government shutdown.

Government shutdown causes LAX ground stop due to controller shortage

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) ordered a ground stop for flights heading to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) due to a shortage of air traffic controllers caused by the government shutdown.

Feds Slam JetBlue With $2M Fine For ‘Chronic Flight Delays’
