Trump: Administration planning to ‘wean off’ FEMA, ‘bringing it down to state level’ after 2025 hurricane season

President Donald Trump has declared his intention to dismantle the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) following the 2025 hurricane season, transferring its responsibilities to individual state governments instead.

A massive migrant shelter in San Diego, California, is closing its doors as the city has seen a significant drop in asylum seekers since President Donald Trump returned back to the White House.
