President Donald Trump has declared his intention to dismantle the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) following the 2025 hurricane season, transferring its responsibilities to individual state governments instead.

A massive migrant shelter in San Diego, California, is closing its doors as the city has seen a significant drop in asylum seekers since President Donald Trump returned back to the White House.

Governor Hochul Delays Trump Meeting After DOJ Sues Her, AG James And N.Y. Over ‘Sanctuary’ Policies

New York Governor Kathy Hochul abruptly postponed a Thursday meeting with 47th President Donald Trump after U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced a day earlier that the DOJ is suing New York, in addition to the state’s governor and attorney general.
