Man arrested on federal charges for pipe bomb and death threats ahead of Vance’s Disneyland visit

An Orange County man has been arrested on a criminal complaint after allegedly threatening to have planted pipe bombs at Disneyland ahead of Vice President JD Vance and his young family’s visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.

Fmr top aide of Eric Adams arrested on federal fraud and bribery charges

Anthony Herbert, a former high-level community liaison for former New York City Mayor Eric Adams, was arrested this week on federal corruption and fraud charges. He made headlines last year when he was fired for a social media post suggesting that the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk was “karma” for what Herbert described as Kirk’s “racist” rhetoric.

Luigi Mangione and legal team appear in court to challenge death penalty

Luigi Mangione, who is accused of murdering UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in December 2024, appeared in a Manhattan federal court on Friday with his legal team for a hearing seeking to block the federal government from pursuing the death penalty.
