LONDON, ENGLAND - APRIL 24: Gareth Kerr, the owner of Cafe Kick, is seen within the closed sports bar on April 24, 2020 in London, England. The bar has been closed since the Government announced that business of this type must close, although sales had dropped massively before the closure due to social distancing measures. Exmouth Market has become known for its small independent businesses after undergoing a period of regeneration in recent years. Many of these businesses were forced to shutter or significantly modify operations during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and subsequent lockdowns. The virus has infected over 2.5 million people across the world, claiming at least 26,000 lives in the U.K. (Photo by Leon Neal/Getty Images)

This picture taken on August 24, 2024 shows a bill, with cash for the tip, left on a restaurant table in Los Angeles. Donald Trump and Kamala Harris agree on very little, but the two presidential rivals have found common ground in calling for the elimination of taxes on tips -- a populist move that many criticize as economically irresponsible. Tipping culture in the United States is fundamentally different from most other countries, as customers are encouraged to tip generously on everything from take-out coffee to cocktails. A tip ranging between 15 and 20 percent of the price is considered normal at most restaurants. (Photo by Chris DELMAS / AFP) (Photo by CHRIS DELMAS/AFP via Getty Images)

SANTA ROSA, PHILIPPINES - JANUARY 08: In this photo illustration, the Meta logo and its verified logo are seen on screens on January 08, 2025 in Santa Rosa, Philippines. Meta has announced the discontinuation of its fact-checking program, transitioning to a community-driven model that relies on users to add context to potentially misleading posts, a move aimed at promoting free expression. This significant policy shift has raised concerns among experts about the potential increase in misinformation and hate speech on Meta's platforms, including Facebook and Instagram, as the company prepares for a new political landscape under the upcoming Trump presidency.
