Congress to Receive ‘Increased Security’ on Jan. 6 for Electoral Vote Certification, per D.C. Mayor’s Request

On the anniversary of January 6th, 2021, members of Congress will convene on Capitol Hill to certify the electoral votes in the 2024 election. The entire force of the federal government will be behind the security protocols.

Philip Morris Investing $232M To Increase ZYN Production At Home Kentucky Plant

Philip Morris International (PMI) has announced they are making a major investment of $232 million to expand production capacity for ZYN nicotine pouches at its Ownesboro, Kentucky plant, to help meet the strong demand.

FTC Vs. Kroger-Albertsons Merger Case Heading To Trial 

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) trial has begun, with the agency continuing its push to block Kroger’s merger with Albertsons, alleging that the merger would “hurt customers and undermine competition” in the grocery store industry.

Walmart Issues Recall Of Apple Juice Sold In 25 States Due To Elevated Arsenic Levels

Over 9,500 cases of apple juice sold at Walmart stores across the United States are being recalled due to an elevated level of “inorganic arsenic,” the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced earlier this month.
