GOP House Speaker Mike Johnson suggested that the Republican Party will convene a national convention ahead of the 2026 midterm elections, noting recent discussions with President Donald Trump on the proposal.

Prosecutors seek 7-year sentence for fmr Sen. Bob Menendez’s wife Nadine

Prosecutors say that the wife of former Senator Bob Menendez should serve a minimum of seven years in prison for her role in a bribery scheme that landed her husband in prison for 11 years.
