Texas Expands Rio Grande Buoy Barrier Along U.S.-Mexico Border Following Trump Inauguration

Texas officials have announced the addition of extra buoys to the Rio Grande River, shortly after President Donald Trump took office on Monday.

Trump Shuts Down Biden’s Migrant CBP App, Canceling All Pending Immigration Appointments

In one of his first executive orders, President Donald Trump ordered the shutdown of the mobile app migrants utilized to attain visas, cancelling all of the pending appointments.

Outgoing ICE Chief Critiques Biden For Delayed Response To Illegal Border Crossings

President Joe Biden’s acting U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) chief called out the administration, saying it should have taken action sooner on the ongoing border crisis, claiming he wished Biden would have put in place executive actions earlier before the border got out of control.

GOP Capitol Hill Staffers Consider Second Mayorkas Impeachment

According to a report by the Washington Times, GOP staffers are discussing a second impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, hoping to block him from holding office in the future.

Border Patrol Agents Predict ‘Mass Exodus’ If Harris Wins, Threaten To Leave In Droves

Border patrol agents are fed up with the Biden-Harris administration, reportedly threatening to leave in droves pending another Kamala Harris-led administration.

Just six months into 2024, Customs and Border Protection announced there have been more than 460 assaults on Border Patrol agents.
