Missouri: Riverview Mayor Michael Cornell Jr. charged with 9 felony sex crimes

Michael Cornell Jr., the 39-year-old Mayor of Riverview, Missouri — a small north St. Louis County city with about 2,300 residents — has been charged with nine felony sex crimes involving four alleged victims over a span of nearly 10 years.

Fmr top aide of Eric Adams arrested on federal fraud and bribery charges

Anthony Herbert, a former high-level community liaison for former New York City Mayor Eric Adams, was arrested this week on federal corruption and fraud charges. He made headlines last year when he was fired for a social media post suggesting that the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk was “karma” for what Herbert described as Kirk’s “racist” rhetoric.

Two days after being abruptly fired as head football coach of the University of Michigan, Sherrone Moore has been charged with third-degree felony home invasion, stalking in a domestic relationship, and breaking and entering/illegal entry, the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office announced on Friday.
