The FBI is handing over new documents related to the Clinton investigation to congress. On Friday, the Justice Department notified the Senate Judiciary Committee of the records transfer. The documents are expected to shed light on how and when the FBI, under then Director James Comey, decided not to pursue criminal chargers against Hillary Clinton, for her use of a private email server during her tenure as Secretary of State.

The Senate sets up a final vote on the confirmation of President Trump’s pick to lead the FBI. Tuesday morning Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced the full Senate would vote to confirm Christopher Wray later this evening after only four hours of debate.
