Trump on Routh verdict: ‘Justice was served’

President Donald Trump reacted to Tuesday’s guilty verdict handed down to Ryan Routh, the 59-year-old man who attempted to take his life last September.

Judge declares D.C. police chief is still in command, while D.C. Mayor Bowser returns from Martha’s Vineyard

After Attorney General Pam Bondi appointed DEA head Terry Cole as “emergency police commissioner” of D.C., bypassing Mayor Bowser and Police Chief Smith, it prompted Bowser and D.C. Attorney General Schwalb to sue, saying the move violated the 1973 Home Rule Act.

Judge rejects government’s motion to dismiss Kilmar Abrego Garcia’s lawsuit

A New York judge has declared a mistrial on the third-degree rape charge in Harvey Weinstein’s ongoing sex crimes retrial.

Federal judge blocks Trump admin from continuing to detain Mahmoud Khalil

A Joe Biden-appointed federal judge has granted Mahmoud Khalil’s petition for a writ of habeas corpus while prohibiting the Trump administration from pursuing longer detention efforts, according to a recent court order.
