China vows to retaliate if Trump doesn’t walk back 100% tariff threat as trade war heats back up

The Chinese government vowed to retaliate against the United States if President Donald Trump does not walk away from his threat of imposing 100% tariffs on Chinese imports due to Beijing’s newly introduced restrictions on rare earth exports.

China restricts rare earth exports as Trump vows strong response, reigniting trade tensions

President Donald Trump suggested that he may cancel his upcoming meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, after Xi sent what Trump described as “hostile” letters indicating China’s plans to restrict exports of rare earth minerals.

Trump signs deal giving American investors majority control over TikTok

President Donald Trump has signed a bill outlining his plan to transfer control of TikTok to American investors.

Trump to meet in-person with President Xi Jinping, discuss TikTok deal

President Donald Trump announced that he and Chinese President Xi Jinping will have their first face-to-face meeting since his re-election, and have “made progress” on a TikTok deal.
