6 Convicted, 15 Cleared Over Response to Deadly 2018 Wildfire At Greece Resort

An Athens court has convicted five former firefighting and disaster response officials, while clearing 15 others involved in wildfires that killed over 100 people at a Greek resort nearly six years ago.

West Maui To Reopen To Tourists In November

Following the deadliest U.S. wildfire in over a century, Maui County officials have announced that all of West Maui — except for destroyed sections of historic Lahaina — will be welcoming visitors again on November 1st.
