Uber Driver Suspended After Running Over Unsupervised Toddler, Driver Assaulted By Child’s Family

An Uber driver was recently suspended from the app after fatally running over an unsupervised toddler while dropping off the child’s family members. Seconds later, other family members noticed what had happened and immediately attacked the driver by hitting and punching him.

Minnesota: Uber And Lyft Will Stop Offering Service In Minneapolis, Citing New Minimum Wage Law

In Minneapolis, the minimum wage for rideshare drivers was vetoed by the mayor, but the city council overrode it. Therefore, Lyft and Uber will no longer operate in Minneapolis, which goes into effect on May 1st.
