Credit Card Defaults At Highest Level Since Great Recession In 2008

According to the Financial Times, U.S. credit card defaults increased to their highest level since the start of the 2008 Great Recession, which is a telling sign that lower-income Americans are struggling after dealing with years of high inflation.

Nordstrom Goes Private In New Deal, Acquired By Nordstrom Family And Mexican Retail Group

Department store chain Nordstrom will be acquired by its founding family and Mexican retailer Liverpool for $4 billion in an all-cash deal, going private at a time when high-end retailers are struggling with slower consumer demand.
