NYC To Pay $13M To 2020 Protesters

The city of New York has consented to pay over $13 million in a settlement of a civil rights lawsuit on behalf of around 1,300 people who had police encounters in the summer of 2020.

France is deploying 40,000 police officers after a morning crisis meeting in response to the riots that erupted after the deadly police shooting of a 17-year-old.

Controversial project known as ‘Cop City’ gets funding approval from Atlanta City Council

Atlanta City Council on Tuesday morning approved funding for the construction of a police and firefighter training center, who hundreds of activists called “Cop City,” as they stood in City Hall in opposition of the project.
