A sudden blackout occurred that affected almost all of Puerto Rico early on Tuesday as the U.S. territory prepared to celebrate New Year’s, leaving over 1.3 million residents in the dark.

4 Dead As Massive Storms Ravage Houston Area, Almost 1M Without Power In Texas

Emergency crews in Southeast Texas were clearing debris and assessing flooding early Friday after powerful storms damaged the Longhorn State, killing at least four people and knocking out power to almost 800,000 customers.
