North Carolina: 3 Officers Shot And Killed While Serving Warrant In Charlotte, 1 Suspect Dead 

During a U.S. Marshals Task Force investigation in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Monday afternoon, three police officers were reportedly shot and killed, including one U.S. Marshal, according to law enforcement authorities.

Calif: Marine Dies During ‘Routine’ Operation At Camp Pendleton

The U.S. Marine Corps announced on Wednesday that a U.S. Marine was killed during an operation at the air base at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California. Oceanside is almost 40 miles away from San Diego, CA.

High School Student Suspended For Saying “Illegal Alien”

NC: 150 Cancer Cases Of Univ. Students And Alumni Possibly Linked To Contaminants In Campus Building

North Carolina State University has been in the process of investigating claims from a number of current students and past alumni who were exposed to concerning amounts of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), a possible carcinogen, from one of the college’s now-closed campus buildings.
