Ford to recall nearly 625,000 US vehicles over camera display, seatbelt issues

Ford is recalling nearly 625,000 vehicles in the U.S. due to seatbelt and rear-view camera display problems.

A ruptured hose in the brake system might cause fluid to leak, lengthening stopping distances, which increases the risk of a crash, the report said.

In a letter dated August 20, the regulator said it received 414 reports of the issue in various Honda and Acura vehicles’ 3.5-liter V6 engine.

Ford is recalling 132,914 Aviator SUVs because parts, including rear door window bars, may detach due to insufficient adhesive retention.

Zoox has issued a second software recall to improve how its vehicles track nearby pedestrians and prevent movement when someone is close.
