Police departments experience difficulty combating

Police departments across the country are finding it increasingly difficult to operate due to staffing shortages. While speaking to reporters on Monday, Portland Police Chief Chuck Lovell revealed that his department is short 100 officers, despite his city experiencing a near 207 percent increase in homicides since 2019.

Charges expected for driver in deadly L.A. crash

The driver in connection with a fiery crash which left six people dead and several others injured in Los Angeles is expected to face multiple charges. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office could announce formal charges against 37-year-old Nicole Linton as early as Monday.

Biden immigration policies under scrutiny after migrant deaths in Texas

President Joe Biden’s policies are under scrutiny after more than 51 migrants were found dead in San Antonio, Texas in an apparent human smuggling operation.
