N.Y. sues Zelle parent company, accusing it of ‘catastrophic’ consumer fraud

The State of New York, being represented by New York Attorney General (AG) Letitia James, is now suing the parent company of the digital payment app Zelle.

N.Y. AG Letitia James subpoenaed by DOJ

New York Attorney General Letitia James has been subpoenaed by the Department of Justice as part of an investigation into civil rights violations involving President Donald Trump. The investigation aims to determine whether any of her actions in office infringed upon Trump’s federally protected rights.

US states sue 23andMe to protect customers’ private data

More than two dozen states sued 23andMe to challenge the sale of its customers’ private information after the genetic testing company filed for bankruptcy in March.

Judge grants DOGE staffers access to Treasury data

A federal judge gave the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) access to the Treasury Department’s financial information on Tuesday.

FBI Officially Launches Criminal Investigation Into N.Y. AG Letitia James Over Suspected Mortgage Fraud

A source familiar with the investigation informed the press that the FBI and the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Albany, New York, have initiated a criminal probe into allegations of mortgage fraud involving New York Attorney General Letitia James—who previously sought to prosecute President Donald Trump on multiple criminal charges.
