DOJ, FBI: 28-year-old arrested after being accused of sending ISIS dozens of payments, building homemade bomb

A 28-year-old man living in Long Beach, California, has been arrested after being accused of sending a dozen payments to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), a designated foreign terrorist organization, in addition to assembling a homemade bomb.

NYPD and FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force: NYC ‘bomb plot’ foiled, domestic terrorist arrested

The New York Police Department, in coordination with the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Joint Terrorism Task Force, announced that they successfully thwarted a planned domestic terrorist attack involving the deployment and detonation of improvised explosive devices (IEDs) throughout New York City.

8 ‘Suspected ISIS Terrorists’ From Tajikistan Arrested In New York, L.A., And Philadelphia

Over the weekend, eight individuals from Tajikistan who authorities believe have connections to ISIS were detained in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and New York, according to three individuals with knowledge of the situation who spoke to NBC News on Tuesday.
